Disposal

Today I washed the dishes in the sink. Just thought I'd be helpful for a change. I get through the pots and pans with out a hitch. But when I started to do the utensils, I dropped a fork and it went down the drain. I thought to myself.. Hell no. I am not sticking my hand down there. Like 80 percent of the time someone ends up losing something cause out of nowhere something ends up flipping the garbage disposal switch and make a human smoothie. I've seen it happen before... well, in movies. So what did I do? I thought it would have been smart to turn off the power to that part of the house. So I go to the circuit breakers and start flipping switches. (keep in mind I have no clue how any of that stuff works.) I finally manage to turn the power off to the kitchen and retrieve the fork. But now all the clocks in my house needed to be reset... damn. All for a tiny fork.

The Blog!

I've noticed that a lot of people I know are getting into personal blogging. I thought about it after a while and I mentioned it to another friend of mine that blogging just feels like the more adult way of expressing yourself. Yeah theres facebook, and once upon a time there was myspace and friendster (which I'm trying to bring back, add me!) but you could never really get as up close and personal as a blog. They're pretty the 21'st centuries diary, except paperless. And yeah, its still out there in the world for public viewing, but for some people, you could only find it if you knew where to look. After a while I noticed that I've built up a little favorites folder on my web browser full of people who's blogs I frequent. I'm happy to share them, cause theres some seriously underrated blogging going down.

Ok. So being a freelance film and video maker, my work is starting to take me to some crazy places. I've been doing a few real estate video tours up in the Susuin/Fairfield are lately. And I've been in some really expensive homes. Today I was inside the home of Jay Shoemaker. He's the CEO of American Zoetrope which is Francis Ford Coppola's company. They do all the film and wine stuff. Anyways, so this house is way nicer than the other 2 million dollar houses that I'v been shooting. I get inside and I have to wear slippers around the house with the guy's initials on them. And all day long he was holding his little Pomeranian dog in his arms. He was a cool dude. Going through the house, I was in awe at all of the Coppola movie posters everywhere. I even saw an oil painting of that very same Pomeranian. Its really cool to see houses like these. I feel like I'm shooting an episode of MTV Cribs. But damn it gets really depressing cause I look so poor driving up in my beat up Nissan Sentra. I guess I gotta start working for it too haha.

Btw, my girlfriend is a model. Hella purdy.

Feature Length

I'm gonna try to reach this goal. I wanna finnish a completed draft of a feature length screenplay by this year. I've gotten over the intimidation of a 90 page script and i just said fuck it. I just pulled out all the files from my screenwriting program and im gonna take all those random scenes and ideas, put them together and hopefully weave something coherent out of it. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. Working title: The Fictional Lives Of Jim And Casey.
